Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PositivePayMaker (“we,” “us”) does and does not do with your information. The short version: the tool runs in your browser, and your check data never reaches our servers.

Your check data stays on your device

The generator and validator run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you load a check register, map columns, or download a positive pay file, that data is processed locally on your computer. We do not upload it, receive it, store it, or transmit it anywhere. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool still works. Any custom formats you save are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and never leave it.

What we do collect

• Standard server logs. Our host (Cloudflare) records basic request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. This is used to operate and secure the site.
• Privacy-friendly analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites.

Advertising and cookies

We may display ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are enabled, the following applies:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. Google and its partners may also show our ads on sites across the internet, and may use cookies set on those sites.
• You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising from Google at My Ad Center. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU/UK).
• If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we present a consent message before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.

If ads are not currently running on the site, no advertising cookies are set.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not collect or store your check data and keep only minimal operational logs, requests will usually concern those logs. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell personal information. EEA/UK residents have rights under the GDPR. To make a request, email us at the address below.

Children

This site is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date above will change when we do.
